from outside attacks. The firewall sits between our servers
and the Internet, screening incoming traffic and blocking
suspicious traffic based on rules defined by our security
engineers. Our NOC (Network Operations Center) staff is managed
by a network security engineer with over fifteen years of
experience in telecommunications cryptography. In addition
to the firewalls protecting each individual server, the entire
network is protected by a circuit level firewall, providing
an additional layer of security for your mission critical
data.
In addition to the firewalls that
protect our servers, WebTwister provides a wide range of tools
for enabling secure access to your server, including PGP for
encrypting email, SSL for encrypting web based transactions,
and SSH for providing secure administrative access. SSH can
be setup from your control panel.
